How Zoover works

You can easily post a review via Zoover, via the homepage or via the page of a particular accommodation, destination or place of interest. Anyone can post a review, provided they comply with Zoover's guidelines. The platform checks the reviews via an automatic and/or manual check. In the guidelines, Zoover states that "an overnight stay must have taken place", but without a direct questionnaire from TopParken, this is difficult to check afterwards by a platform like Zoover.

How do reviews appear on Zoover?

Anyone can add a review on Zoover, but no invitation link with a questionnaire is sent after a stay. This means that most reviews here are not verified. One only needs to leave personal details, a review and numbers. They then have to confirm the review via an e-mail address and then the review is posted on the platform.

When is a review verified?

Zoover contacts reviewers to verify reviews to ensure that reviewers have actually stayed at an accommodation. For such verification, Zoover asks for a booking confirmation or other type of proof of stay. The reviewer is then given 10 days to respond. However, it is not clear on Zoover which reviews are verified and which are not. Moreover, here, reviews are thus checked after the fact, while on other verified review platforms, a questionnaire is sent immediately after the stay.

Verified or unverified reviews at Zoover?

So on Zoover, reviews are verified through booking confirmations, but in the overview of reviews, it is not clear which are verified and which are not. It is therefore best to consult platforms where reviews are based on post-stay questionnaires.

Why are verified reviews better?

When it is certain that people have had a service experience (i.e. have visited a holiday park in the case of TopParken), these reviews are labelled as verified. These people can share an honest and reliable opinion, which is not the case for unverified reviews.

Of course you can continue to use a review platform like Zoover, but keep in mind that not all reviews are verified.
