The centre of Lichtenvoorde is less than 5 km from the holiday park and is easily accessible by bike and car. Go here for shopping, coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner or visit the market on Saturday. At the market in Lichtenvoorde, you will find a boulder weighing over 20,000 kilos. In 1874, it was dragged to the market as a pedestal to celebrate the 25th anniversary of William II's reign. The boulder can still be admired, now including a seated lion with the municipal coat of arms of Lichtenvoorde.
