Campsite by the river Lek
Our holiday park, Resort Lexmond, formerly known as Camping Leuk & Camping De Uiterwaard, offers spacious camping pitches and holiday homes right on the waterfront of the river Lek. Thanks in part to the beautiful location of the accommodation, you can enjoy the water sports, boating and recreational opportunities from the campsite's beach without any worries.
Truly Dutch: polders, mills and water
Resort Lexmond borders not only the Lek, but also the Oude Haven and the dike of Lexmond. The campsite on the Lek is known for its unique location; hardly anywhere in the Netherlands can you camp with your tent or caravan so close to the water. Apart from the water, the polders, windmills and bridges give you that real old Dutch feeling.
Camping by the water
On the banks of the river Lek, you will find the perfect combination of tranquillity, water sports opportunities and walking and cycling paths for a relaxing camping holiday. Camp by the water with your tent, camper van or caravan on one of the 60 spacious camping pitches at Resort Lexmond, each approximately 150m2 in size. Each pitch has electricity and enough space for your car. Some pitches also have water supply and drainage. The renovated sanitary building provides extra comfort. Dogs are welcome.
Out and about!
From your camping pitch on the Lek you can drive to Utrecht via Lexmond, Vianen and Nieuwegein. Not so keen on the city? Then it is wonderful to discover the Green Heart of the Netherlands. The many walking and cycling routes lead you past farms, meadows and ditches. You have probably never been to this area before; all the more fun to discover these hidden locations.
Camping by the water
Many guests come to our waterside campsite not only for relaxation and entertainment, but also for the forest! Close to Resort Lexmond you will find the 'Utrechtse Heuvelrug' region, known for its National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Military Museum and the Pyramid of Austerlitz, among others. So you see, the province of Utrecht has holiday-worthy surroundings!
